Tidal
This was a final project for a business class, where we learnt how projection trees, revenue models and P&L statements work to bring designs to market.
From a raw idea of a sustainable swimwear company with designs that stay on, Tidal was created and the brand was developed. By identifying the target market we were able to create the persona, projection tree, revenue model, and P&L.
The Project
The goal of this project was to bring a raw idea to a point where it is ready for an investment pitch. We built on what we had learned in earlier design classes about knowing your user and sketching skills, with our new skills of building projection trees, revenue models and profit and loss statements to bring the business side to design.
With a group of 5, we went from my initial idea of a sustainable swimwear company with products designed to stay on to a concept that could go to market.
