Design has not only come into my life with specific design projects but also within visual communication for other classes and projects, where I have developed the skills required to share information in a visually exciting and compelling way.
Rua Kombucha
At the time, Rua Kombucha were looking to partner with schools to get kombucha into primary schools as an alternative to sugar rich fizzy drinks. This tri-fold brochure was designed to educate parents and students about the benefits of kombucha as well as raise awareness of the company and its mission.
Water Injustice on the Waikato River
This infographic was designed as part of a case study looking at environmental injustices, used as a tool to visually understand the history of the Waikato River and the injustices that have occurred on the waterway. It also looks into how alliances were built between different parties were created to work through the injustices faced.
Timeline of Colour Theory
This was created as a visual representation of the history of colour theory. The prompt required 20 points of information at three levels, leading to the dive into the earliest uses of colour, the key players in the development of colour theory, and into the implications of this theory that we see in our everyday.
Basing this timeline around the colour wheel seemed only fitting as the history of the colour wheel is tied within the history of colour theory, and a starting point in which colour theory was developed.
